Around 50% of the plastics that we use in everyday life are used once and then thrown away – including bottles of shampoo, shower gel and other bathroom products. Plastic waste never truly breaks down or biodegrades. Instead, it takes hundreds of years to break down into micro-pieces that then hang around in our environment. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, plastic production and manufacturing currently uses around 8% of the world’s oil supply. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
Trying to work out how to use less plastic? Switching to plastic free toiletries can have a huge impact on the amount of harmful plastic waste you produce in a lifetime. And what could be more simple than switching from bottled shower gel to a plastic free soap bar?
This soap bar contains dead sea salt and mud to help soothe dry skin, with added shea butter, cocoa butter and almond oil for a luxurious body treatment that you can use every day. Can be used all over for a total head to toe clean.
